Okay. Did I mention to you guys to add some special effects to your video? I am going to teach you how to add mussel flashes, smoke and even a showcasing that flashed outside of your gun.
Now, the first thing you are going to do is going to the upper left hand corner. You click ‘File’, go down and you should see ‘Import’. Go and click ‘Import’. And this little box is going to come up here and you can just choose whatever you want to import, you need to import your video of you shooting a gun, you need to import the mussel flash pictures, sound effects, the smoke, you need to import the show casing and that should be it and maybe some music if you want.
Now there is a box over here and when you import all your stuffs, that is where it is going to be. Now this is the time-one, down here. This is great for your video and you see all the stuff that you added. I have a video down here before we started, so just drag what need down there and we will get started.
Okay, the first thing that we are going to do is drag that video of you shooting a gun or whoever else and put it down in the time-one and the second thing that you are going to do is grab the side smoke video and bring that down to where you are shooting a gun. So, it looks like smoke is coming out of your gun. Now, if you do not line it up perfectly, it would not look believable, so you need to line it up perfectly.
Now on the bottom left hand corner, there is this little thing down here and it lets you open up your video and zoom-in or zoom-out. So, what you want to do is, you want to zoom in and you can see better, see what you are doing and it is just easier—so click that a couple times. And again this helps you line up your smoke and your mussel flash and your show casing, all at the same time. That just makes a little bit more realistic and it looks better.

Now, to take away that black and just have the smoke. You need to go down to ‘Video Effects,’ scroll down and see little material here? That takes away with the black background and just keeps what you have. Now it is important you all do this in the same order. Next, you come down to ‘Channel,’ add invert to the smoke video and go to ‘Image Control’ add black and white to the smoke video.
Then go to ‘Adjust Brightness and Contrast,’ drag that over to this smoke video and go ahead to ‘Image Control’ so that color balance RGB and put that on the smoke video as well. That is going to be the last thing.
Now that we have everything in order, we are going to start adjusting but we just put into this smoke video. And when you put something on the video to edit, it comes out in this box up here and all of the effects to have. Start right clicking in the key and set the threshold to 64 percent.
Things are coming down to brightness and contrast. I will take both and I will just put it all the way to 200 but you can do whatever you want.
Once you come down to Color Balance RGB and again I am just going to put them all up to 200 but you can make it where you like it better.
