How to Add a Category in Joomla

In this tutorial, we will be adding a new content category that we will be able to create a new content under. To begin navigate to Content>Category Manager. To create our new category click the New button in the toolbar. Fill in the form to create the category. You can change the section the category will be created under as well as the access level of the category. You can also select an image to use for the category. Then you can enter a description for the category. To create our new category click the Save button in the toolbar. Our category is now created and published. It's ready for us to create content under it.
