You can add a fill to change the color of a title in the title designer of Adobe Premiere. To do this, go ahead and select the select tool from your toolbox and then click on the text that you’d like to change the fill of. I have a style applied right now, and so it already has a fill applied. You could see over here in your title properties that fill has a checkmark beside it. If I uncheck it, it will take away that fill. I do want to add the fill, so I’m going to go ahead and check it. I could click on this arrow beside fill and it’s going to give me the properties for my fill. I’m going to go ahead and scroll down so I could see them all.
Now, there are different sorts of fill types that I can choose. I can have a solid, a linear gradient or radio gradient, a four color gradient, a bevel, eliminate or a ghost. If I choose solid, then I can pick my color by clicking on the color wheel and then using the slider to find the color that I like and that color will be applied. If I choose another type of fill, then it’s going to give me a couple of different options. Here’s the first color of my gradient and then my second color which I could click on the fill and then set and you can see that I have a gradient.
Four color gradient works pretty much the same way. How you could click on the different squares and then the color wheel and then choose a different color. And you could create a whole new look for your title. Bevel has a highlight and then also a shadow, the same thing with the last two options. We’ll give you some slightly different options. I’m going to go ahead and stay with my gradient right here, let me change that color. And I have different options here depending on what type of fill that I’ve chosen. I could change all of these just by clicking and then type in the new percentage or the new amount, the angle as well and I could change all of that. And if I go back to solid you can see I basically just have my color and I have a opacity which I could change to make it partially see through.
So that’s how you could add a fill to your text, to your titles and your title designer in Adobe Premiere.
