Number one create urgency or fear in your headline, remember a squeeze page is not meant to make a sale it’s meant to acquire an email address period that’s it, an example of creating fear might be “If you feel to read this report you have a 90% chance of never being able to” another would be “Statistics have shown that children can also be effected by” so now you get a good idea.
Number two provide two option forms on every page. One form should always go in the top fold of the page left to right and another on the bottom.
Number three use a graphical option box at the top of the page. This has been shown to increase option rates more than 30%.
Number four no external links. There is where many people fail again the squeeze page has one purpose, to give the visitor to option, never use external links on your squeeze page the only two options are leave or subscribe.
Number five never asked for more information that it necessary all you need is name and email address that’s it.
Number six always provide your name and your address at the bottom of your squeeze page personalization is a must.
Number seven less is more, remember keep it short and to the point.
Number eight privacy policy, place a small but subtle statement directly under your form subscribe button letting people know that you won't rent, share or sell their information.
Number nine test, test and test again. You can always increase your subscriber rates never stop testing.
