E-mart, the only remaining thing left is to get to an Excel document that tracks all of the standards that you’ve practice with all of the projects that belong in your task stream portfolio. Anything that we have left is to record on an Excel sheet. Among all of the projects that we've completed and added to task stream what Kentucky Teacher Standards we have practiced and become proficient in. You got a portfolio with a glance. We attached the file there from the resource file when you begin your template.
You’re going to right click and save target as to the desktop and open it. We’re going to move this to the right hand part of our screen and go back our Kentucky Teacher’s Standards list that we created when we look at Mathew’s Philosophy. The first item would be item number one. We’ll put the title philosophy of education and that is that we have the main standards running across the top. And then we need to record what set of standards that we use for the philosophy. The first one is 1.2. Because we have the main category one right here there’s no need to put 1.2. We can simply put two. Moving on down for standard three, you'll see that we have 3.1 and 3.4.
So we’re going to get a standard three and mark one comma four. For standard four, we have five, so we’re putting a five right here. The last one is standard five and the substandard is five. So we’ll put a five here also. Opening window that can close up our Kentucky Teacher Standards List and then I’ll expand this a bit. You can see that you have completed the chart for the one assignment philosophy of education. We need to save this and re-upload it, file, save as and the title is portfolio to glance. I encourage you to date that each time. So we’ll put underscore whatever the date is 09_22_08, save it to your desktop.
The last thing that you need to do is to upload the edited portfolio at a glance Excel form. Go to edit, attachment, browse, and find the file that has the date on it, double click, add file and close the window. You might want to keep copies of this on your flash drive or on your personal computer in case you make a mistake. You will add to this as you add assignments. Go ahead and delete the one that’s blank and out dated. So in review we wanted to upload a project to task stream. We compared the project which was the Philosophy of Education to the Kentucky Teacher Standards, easy form so that we can see all of the standards on one page.
We looked at various areas of our Philosophy of Education and determined at least five step standards that were practiced when the Philosophy of Education was created. We selected the standards that apply and then we open task stream and uploaded the project, we attached the standards, attached an image, edit the reflection and completed the portfolio at a glance. You will follow this process for all of the projects that you’ve put in your presentation portfolio and for the evaluation projects that you’ve put in your evaluation portfolio.
