My name is Bridget Speiser. I am Program Manager with the Cat Neighborhood
Partnership Program here at the Washington Humane Society in Washington DC. And
today I’m going to talk to you about how to adopt a perfect cat for you and your family.
We are going to go over a few topics. The first is going to be how to come to the decision
that you are ready to introduce a cat to your home, how to navigate the adoption process,
actually selecting a perfect cat for you and your family, and the fourth will be actually
bringing kitty home and beginning your life together as a family.
Little more about me, I joined the Washington Humane Society in of October 2006 and
come from a background Feline Veterinary Health. I was a technician in Feline Hospitals
for six years and helped to assist the families and the cats that they loved with
strengthening their bonds and improving their overall relationships.
