How to Align Objects in Flash CS3

If you have two or more objects in Adobe Flash, then you can align those objects with each other. So to do so, go ahead and select all the objects that you want to align. I’m going to simply use my selection tool and then draw a marquee around them so I get both my fills and my stroke selected of both my objects. Now, to get the align panel on, you could do a keyboard shortcut of CTRL and K and you’re going to get your aligned panel over to the right. Now, you’ve got a couple of different options here. You could choose to align with the left edge of the stage, which it will go ahead and align them in reference to each other. I'm going to go ahead and undo this. You could do it in the center, to the left, you could do it with the top edge, with the vertical center of each other, and then align to the bottom edge. And this is alignment in reference to each other not to the stage necessarily.

There’s a couple other options here as far as how you want to distribute. And you can also match the width or the height. Match the width and the height if you want to create some objects the same size. So those are some good options to use if you have more than one objects that you want to align, distribute or match in reference to each other.
