Host: Today we have make up artist supreme, Bryan Subido, goes to show us a metamorphosis. Bryan,
Bryan: Yes
Host: Would you tell us what you intend to do with Chona this morning?
Bryan: Well this morning, what I’m going to do is actually, I’m going to take one of my common philosophies about make-up is, actually creating a very simple glamour; and to do that, I always feel that the stem is awfully the first thing that you probably should perfect, because at this stage for your eyes and your lips to be played on, the actors, I guess. So what I did was I applied the foundation that has more of a really rich kind of lots of quality about it. Just taking it from the center of the face and then streaking it right into the hairline or jaw line, and I actually do the technique where I did a lighter foundation on the darker foundation. Through the center of the face I created more of a lighter radiant, and then I took the darker foundation, maybe a couple shades lighter than her normal, sorry, from the center foundation and just gotten more on the side just to sculpt the face creating more angles that light on. Now I know when the summertime bronze is really, really important, but it’s the fall, it’s the winter, we need to actually start creating our real look, our real, I guess, our real color and perfect to that, so again I chose a lighter, like the same color of her skin would be during the fall, winter; and then I’m using a blush instead of a bronzer, this one has a little bit of pink, and all that I’m doing is just facing her right here in the apples of the cheeks, an inch away of nose and inch away from the eyes, I’m just sculpting and creating more of an, a rosier cheek. Bronzers, you might want to kind of tuck away in Van built table, and just start picking up these kind of blushes that are more neutral because what’s going to be happening if there’s a real strong finish for eyes and lips, so you’re going to be creating more of a delicate face. So again, inch away from the eyes, an inch away from the nose, sweep the color down, and smile for each other and create that nice healthy glow on the apple of the cheeks.
Host: and then next step Bryan
Bryan: Just putting a bit Pestado off the top of the face, we create no shine. Again just down that’s under the face and especially right here along, I’m not, there’s not a specific name for it but just right beside the mouth and before the nose, right here. Take a little bit of powder that you don’t want any shine, that’s not very pretty rich of the heavily shine come through, you might know that for each other.
Next, I’m going to just use a nice sheer eye shadow
Host: And what kind of color are you putting on now?
Bryan: More of a pink based, or peachy based, and I’m just going to grease it all over the lip. Sharla is in the other, but I don’t want to overdo it for her, so we’re just using it with one eye shadow all over the lead, starting form, I mean, at the brow bone edges, placing it all over the ledge of the brink.
Next I’m using a really creamy eye liner; I’m just lining the eye with it, again, really something really quick, because again, Sharla might not have a lot of time to go out to do make-up, so you’re using a simple eyeliner, but if you don’t have a lot of time, no, okay so liners are going to be your best friends. So just line it from outside in and I’m using a creamy one again. So brush powder, a little bit of eyeliner, and of course a little bit of gloss
Host: And what kind of color did you apply on her lip?
Bryan: It was more of peachy beige
Host: Peachy Beige
Bryan: And then with a simple upbeat of brown; just putting a gloss on, a nice kind of coarser terra lip tone, so we just have a nice not so finish. Let’s put a little bit more blush, and whatever existing powder or blush you have on, just dust it on the forehead, a little bit down on the nose and a little bit on the cheek.
Not so Blush, nice glossy lips, a little bit of color on the eyes, and of course you have this beautiful lashes so might as well play them up with a lot of mascara, sometimes it makes mascara with a nice whisky quality about it, we’ll pull the lashes out and make up just hot, make the eye stand out, make the whites of the eye clear. But again this is very simple, you just pull, get your hair done, put your light make-up up, just go out the door, you’re done. Out the door, see and look how long it’ll freak out (--)
Host: So you got it, Sharla, got it
Sharla: Don’t worry your foot
Bryan: Go away but don’t worry. Thank you very much
Sharla: Yes I would do everyday.
