Hi everyone! So, on this video, I will be showing you how I apply my false lashes. So basically, I really love the NYC lashes. I know there’s very expensive lashes out there but this NYC lashes in my opinion worked very well and they are only about $2.00. They are the glamour eyelashes and they’re #974A black, I’m sorry about that.
I really, really like these eyelashes just because they’re great and they’re reasonably priced. So, this is the lash and as you can see, I have them on my left eye and you could just see the big difference, it just makes your eye pop out so much more. So, I’m going to go ahead and take out my lash so I’ll be taking them on outward, pulling it out and just flexing to bend just a little bit so you get that shape like your eye.
Then what I’m going to be doing since I already know how much I need to cut on these lashes because I use them so much, you can always just measure them by placing them just like this and like that and then you know how much you need to cut off.
A lot of people will cut it from the outer part of the eyelash. I cut it on the inner part of the eyelash. And if these happened to—the inner lashes happen to be a little too long then what I do is just trim them a little bit just because I like that longer look on the outside. So, if I cut, it’s going to be a lot shorter and that’s not what I want that you can always cut it from the outside if you’d like that. I’m going to go ahead and take my scissors and cut that off. So, I cut that little piece off and I want to be using the waterproof eyelash adhesive and I’ve tried Duo but in my preference I didn’t like it. I haven’t tried the waterproof so I think I should but I really like this eyelash curve. It works well for me so I want to place to all my hands just like that. I’m going to take my tweezers, take the glue with my tweezer to my lash and then I’m going to put a very thin coat of glue, very thin, and I’m going to put a little more on the corners because the corners tend to loose there grip a lot more so I want to put a little one the outer part of the eyelash.
So, there you go, just like that. I’m going to let it dry for about 20 or 30 second just that the glue gets a little tacky and it’s easier to put on your eyes. Now, if you are allergic to latex make sure you read the directions very well because of course I wouldn’t want you guys to get any reaction to it, allergic reaction to it if you don’t do well with latex. So, just make sure you read all of the labels and all of the ingredients that they use in our products.
So, I’m letting not dry a little just to it gets tacky just because if it’s too wet and you put it on your eye, it will just—it will not work. It will just become a mess and this waterproof dry dark so you’ll see the glue of it just slips off a little.
So, I’m going to grab it with my tweezers, you could do it with your hand or whatever finger, whatever works for you. I like to use my tweezers so the glue is dry and I want to place that on the outer part of my eye. Then on the outer part, I don’t really get too close to my lash line, I’m sorry about that just because I don’t want, there you go. I want it to weigh out a lot more, I want it to stand up more, I want it to be higher up so I don’t really get close to the lash line at the end of the part on the outer corner.
So, just sticking this together just like so pushing it in, grabbing the lash just like that and pushing it in just because when I use my fingers I was getting the glue on my fingers and I was making a mess so this works well for me. And I make sure the corners are in their good because we don’t want them coming apart so just like so and if you notice I put a thin coat of eyeliner, liquid eyeliner, just so it camouflages the glue in the lash a little bit better.
So after that is dry I’m going to be applying this mascara, it’s tart and I got this little sample from Saffron. I really like this mascara when it comes to putting in with my fake lashes just because it doesn’t put too much or it should let or it’s just the right amount in my opinion so I want to go ahead and just apply the mascara. And if you want like a more dramatic look on your eyelashes, you can always go all the way out and that will work well too.
So, I’m just going to be applying it on the roots just so they stick together. I’m moving my wand just a little bit so they get in there. Okay so just like that. I’m getting the inner corner of the eyelashes, then I’ll be applying it on the lower, okay and let that dry out just a little bit then I will be just giving my finger and putting them upwards and you get a little more of a dramatic look. Now, sometimes I like to curl them but I’m not today. But you can curl them they’ll stick better together and this is actually the great way just to get going for the day. And as you can see it’s amazing, I love eyelashes. I think they make you look so much nice so when you put them on or when you’re going for special occasions, it’s really awesome. And like I said those NYC’s are really nice. Again, it’s the 974A black.
