How to Apply Feng Shui to Your Breakfast Room

I am your host Leigh Kubin and today we will be working in the breakfast room that falls in the wealth area of the Bagua. So, let us go see what is cooking. FENG SHUI Wealth Relations Health Wisdom Travel Leigh Kubin: Well, Victoria I love your breakfast room. Victoria: Well, thank you Leigh. We have recently moved in to this house and purchased the table and chairs. The rooms are little plain and I really need some help with what to do with it now. Leigh Kubin: Well, this is being your wealth area. I know that you want an abundance of money and time and friends and opportunity. So, the first thing we need to do is get rid of all these triangles. Victoria: Triangles are bad? Leigh Kubin: Triangles are fire and with this being wood sector the triangles burn the wood. So, think about the money and opportunities and things like that disappearing. So, what we are going to do is first look at the table. I love the table it is beautiful, it is wood which is great for this area, the problem is that in the chairs if you notice there are triangles all over the back of them. Victoria: Okay. Leigh Kubin: Now, what we are going to intend with these triangles if you notice they form a square, so we are going to call that a square instead of triangles. Victoria: Okay. Leigh Kubin: Now, let us talk about some triangles that we can fix. If you notice behind the table you have created a triangle back here with the wall. So, what we want to do is straighten out the table so that you do not have that triangle right there. And although I love this picture that you have here if you notice there is three of these leaves and in between you see the triangles. Victoria: Oh, okay. Leigh Kubin: So, it is a great picture and I think there is a better spot in house that you can put it. Maybe here we could replace this with something that I got wood in it, something that you love that looks abundant to you and we will place that here. Victoria: Okay. Leigh Kubin: So, Victoria I love the blinds. The only thing that I would change I would move them upward. Right now, they are facing downward which is creating downward moving energy. And with this being wealth area, you want everything lifted up. Victoria: Definitely. Leigh Kubin: It is very simple thing, just pull the cord have them face up. Victoria: That sounds easy to me. Leigh Kubin: And I would love to see a tree in this corner, representing your wealth growing and your opportunities growing. So every time you see the three grow, you can look at that as something in your life growing. Victoria: Sounds terrific! Leigh Kubin: My favorite is the Chinese money tree, so I have to show you where to get one of those. Victoria: Ok. Leigh Kubin: And something about this window I wound really like to see it opened up and maybe you could put something here with jewel stones in it. I do not know if you want a look for different drapes or if it something like that or if you have something that you can put here that represent well to you. Victoria: Well you know, actually I am thinking about something that I have an another part of the house that might actually work here that has the jewel stones like you are describing. Leigh Kubin: Okay, well, let us go take a look and see if that might work for us. Victoria: Okay, it sounds good. Leigh Kubin: Okay. So Victoria, what do you think about your breakfast room? Victoria: I absolutely love it Leigh. It has a wonderful energetic and abundant feel. Leigh Kubin: I love the way it feels too. I think you did a great job but my favorite is this piece of art you have in the window. Victoria: Well, it was what you were describing and as you were talking about and I thought well that is what she is talking about is this piece that I had in another part of the house that fits here once we put it up in the window it fit.
