How to Apply Foundation?
Hey everyone, so today I want to do a foundation tutorial. I want to show you how I do my foundation. So right now I’m using Revlon Colorstay because it's a cheap affordable brand and it is very good.
Let me start off by having a cleansed face, it’s important to have your face clean before you apply any make-up. You don’t want to add on make-up when your face is dirty and have residue on it because it's just clog some pores and you get breakout. So I’m going ot use my moisturizer and I’m going to apply in the main areas, The tubes around the eyes, and on mouth and of course the neck. These are the main areas that tend age more faster. And this is the moisturizer that I’m using, green tea with the moisturizer with sea minerals and green tea extract.
So now I’m going to apply my concealer and I’m going to conceal any blemishes or any problem areas. And I’m using Revlon New Complexion Concealer and it looks like this and comes with a darker color concealer here, but I used it all up and helps dark circles you can apply that. The eye area is really gentle, so you don’t hard too much on it and you might want to use your ring finger because it is weaker.
Next I’m going to conceal in that concealer so when I apply my foundation it doesn’t wash out with the foundation and I’m going to apply some powder. And this is from Jane, it’s a clear color translucent, it has no color in it and it works really good and it’s really cheap. They’re about like two bucks. Tap off and then just apply it where you applied the concealer, dab it on and blend it in. And you don’t want to put powder under your eyes because it tends to accentuate the fine lines or any wrinkles on there.
So next I’m going to use Revlon Colorstay Foundation and true beige and I’m going to get my foundation brush from Studio Basics, you can find this at any drug store. So what I do is I really don’t like the way that they’re made too because it’s not like a pump one. I like the pump one and you just pump in and it comes out. So I’m just going to apply it a little on my hand and my brush in there, and you want to focus more on areas that you want to cover up or have more blemishes. And you want to make sure it blends really well into the skin. Take your time blending it in, that’s very important.
So let’s put some foundation. Now you’re going to get sane powder and I’m going to fill in that foundation just to let it last longer and it gives me a nice matte finish and that way it won't make you look that oily. And just apply a little bit, you don’t want to apply too much, it makes you face look cakey and powdery. And then that is it for foundation.
Now onto the blush. I’m using MAC in hipness blush. So just put that on there, so it gives you a more natural look even if you don’t have the twin brush, you can just dab it on by doing that. And it gives you that nice natural finish.
Also you might want to add a little powder on the lips before applying any kind of color o your lips because this way I helps bring out—you don’t have to put so much, but it helps bring out the color of the product more on your lips, because if you really have a really more part of it like my myself and my lips tend to be nudey. They’re not such a bright red naturally, they’re not like a bright pink or bright red. They’re naturally like pale. So it helps bring out the product color more better. And this lip gloss is from Lancome. It’s called Corail and it’s a Star Gloss from Lancome. So that’s the look and if you have any questions, you can leave them below and thanks to those who have subscribed, and I hope everybody have a nice day!
