How to Apply Foundation, Blush and Contouring
Hey, everyone. It’s Jen. So, Oh my God! I’m on YouTube with no makeup on. No top on, no nothing on but I’ve been getting up your request to do this video about how I apply my foundation and so forth, so here I am. Don’t get scary guys. You requested it, so let’s get started.
I’m going to be listing the products that I use, but of course every skin is different. I’ve used many, many products until I found the one that was right for my skin. I will be grabbing my makeup Forever HD foundation and I use color 117. I’ll be putting a little bit on my hand and I’ll be getting my MAC 187 brush that being in there just a little bit. And I’m applying it on my face then I’ll just start blending it out in circles. I don’t touch my dark circles with the foundation. It just doesn’t make sense because I want to be putting on my concealer.
And as you can see also I have freckles, so I just conceal them. My mom always says that they don’t cover your freckles. It’s like impossible, but I still try to do it. And when I’m on a rush, I will apply my foundation on my hand on my fingers. Whatever works for you I know they say you’re not supposed to do that and all these other stuff, but I still do.
Okay, so now that has been applied, I’m going to get a little bit more for my forehead, nose and chin, and I’d like full coverage. I know some of you partly don’t want full coverage, so I’ll show you what to do if you just want a lighter application of foundation. I hope you want to cover more. With my nose, I usually just do it with my finger because my brush just doesn’t get it the way I liked it to. And you put very light here. And I add a little bit more foundation but this is going up higher turn over here. You don’t have to apply them in this area if you have the right color foundation, but if it’s a little bit lighter or darker you might want to consider just spreading it down just a little so it all flows together.
Next I will be applying my maximum cover Estee Lauder concealer. This one is amazing it like conceals so much, and I’m just using my Laura Mercier concealer brush and the same for the other eye. Put a little too much. I want to be using it on dark circles and we’re almost there. And then on my lip, on my pimple just so you guys know there are concealers out there that are green that will cover the redness. I’ve just never have to use that. I just use my concealer. I’m a loyal to it. It’s very good. These concealers are awesome just because it covers everything. It’s waterproof. It’s amazing so you can even hide scars or tattoos. I don’t know that’s just I don’t know one, but it does a cover the tattoo. So there you go.
So that’s my makeup foundation and concealer. And I usually like the full cover, so like I said so I want to be applying MAC studio fix and C2 and my powder brush. And just so just give it full coverage, complete coverage and it will make your powders. If you’re going to be using light powder, blush and contouring powder as well, this could be awesome because you can blend it so much better. There you go.
Next, I will be applying my blush and my contouring powder. So okay guys I’m going to be using that to contour my face. What I do is I just apply this right here, right under your cheek bone which is usually like right here. So just add a little of that on both sides. I already know where I’m suppose to apply this so I do it a little bit faster but if you could just feel your bone right there. My lips are still chap. Then on the temples, on the hair line, most they can do applying the chin, just by like that.
Next, I will be grabbing my MAC 275, getting more of that sculpt starting right on my brow bringing it down under my nose, bringing it downward. Next, I’m going to apply my Gingerly Blush which is that one right there. I apply on my cheek. I like this blush a lot you guys. It’s like one of my favorite blushes and I always put on the nose for some reason. I don’t like my nose to look really white. Now, my chin and now just to have it.
Next, I would be highlighting and I’ll be using Pro Necklace Eye Shadow by Too Faced. Yes, an eye shadow I just like it. I like it a lot. I’ll be applying it right from above my cheek bone, actually right on it, chin, nose, forehead, and there you go.
So next I will be applying my brows and I’ll get right back to you guys. Okay, guys I’m back, so I applied my eye brows and I know that a lot of you have been commenting on my eye brows. I do have a video on how I applied my eye brows so go ahead check that out if you want to see how I do that, and that’s pretty much it.
I hope this help most of you guys out there, and remember it’s very important to exfoliate your skin, so make sure that you do some facial twice a week at least, and make sure you use a very, very concentrated moisturizers, very creamy, and sleep with them throughout the night.
So thank you guys so much for watching and subscribing out. I’ll talk to you guys later, bye.
