How to Assemble a Favor Box

One of your most classic and versatile packaging ideas is our two assembled favor boxes. These boxes are inexpensive and come in many different styles and colors to match any events. One of our most frequently asked questions is how these boxes are assembled. So that is what I’m going to show you today.

When you receive your boxes you’ll see that they come in two pieces, a top and a bottom. I’m going to assemble the bottom first. You’re going to squeeze sides of the boxes together popping it into its box shape. You’ll notice there are four different flaps and you’re going to fold in the three smaller flaps first. Then you’re going to fold the longest piece in, this is the last side and the bottom of your box. So you’ll see that it is fully lined.

Next, we will assemble the top piece. You’re going to hold that so the bottom or the inside of the box is facing you. Fold in your four corners first and then you’ll notice that there is a little triangle edges. You’re going to fold these in, these are going to make the corners of your box. You’ll notice that there’s a long side and short side. You’re going to fold the short side in over your little corner pieces and then your longer side in next. You’ll notice that the longer side has a little tab and this is going to click in to the other side of the lid making it secure.

Your box is now complete. You can embellish these boxes very simply with a personalized label or a little fancier with a ribbon and a hang tag, the possibilities are endless.
