Submission 101. I am going to show you attacking the turtle position. This time, it's going to be a roll. So as you can see, move back little bit here from the wall. Eddie is in the turtle position, I am here and I am on top of my partner. What I am going to do is I am going to try to get my hooks in here. But I can't because he is a little bit too tight. But what I can do is, I can stay on base and I can take my arms and grab onto on his arms. So he just postures up for second, you will see, I am grabbing onto his wrist here.
Now from there, what I am going to do is, I am going to hold them tight, and I am going to lean forward, I am going to fall on to my shoulder and I am going to pull him over with me. So I am here, I am going to get falling forward, and as you can see, I pull him and then I will get my hooks in. This requires momentum. Can't do it slow. So he is here, I grab Ed, I am going to fall back onto my shoulder, or fall forward onto my shoulder here, getting the hooks in.
Now, for a little bit more advanced stuff. If I am trying to get him, I will get a hook in, one and two. I have got my hooks in but he is still turtling, I am like well, get a loop in. Now, I have really gone in, I am going to fall, going to extend my legs. I have him in this position, then I can start attacking, going for a rear naked choke or whatever like that. So just because someone is turtled in, it doesn't mean you can't attack it. So it gives you kind of an opportunity to go for and get the back position by flipping it over.
