Tiffany Smith: Welcome to Love U, where hopefully today you’ll graduate with a little extra credit in the love department. Today’s last news is how to avoid breaking up the wrong way. It’s time to say be fond farewell. According to the US census figures, there are over a hundred million singles in America. Surely, one of them will fit your bill; but before you can cozy up to Mr. Right, you have to tell Mr. Wrong that he is yesterday’s news. Ending a relationship can be tricky, so here’s how to avoid breaking up the wrong way. Rule number one: Face time. Show him some respect and break-up in person.
Male: And I have a text message.
Tiffany Smith: Need to talk.
Male: Ok.
Tiffany Smith: We’re over.
Male: Why?
Tiffany Smith: Yes.
Male: I don’t know.
Tiffany Smith: You suck as a boyfriend.
Male: Seriously?
Tiffany Smith: Are we going to go through this again?
Male: I will always love you.
Tiffany Smith: Pee my pants laughing.
Male: You have broken my heart.
Tiffany Smith: All done, bye bye.
Male: I hate you, what the hell is that suppose to mean?
Tiffany Smith: Rule number two: Information rage. Make sure you come armed with answers. When you break up with your guy he’s going to ask why, so be honest. But, not too honest. There is such a thing as too much information.
Male: Why?
Tiffany Smith: I don’t like you. It’s mostly your personality but also your looks. The comic books didn’t help and don’t give me started on Mr.Fuzzy Wuzzy Bear.
Tiffany Smith: Rule number three: Location, location, location. It’s important to break up in a place that’s private. You want to minimize embarrassment and breaking up publicly can be devastating.
Tiffany Smith: Well, I had a lot of fun. I think it would be best if we went our separate ways. I’m sure you understand.
Tiffany Smith: There is no excuse to stay in a dead end relationship. Just follow these simple rules and you’ll be skipping down to road to singledom faster than you can say, it’s not you, it’s me. But it’s you. Thanks for watching Love U, I’m Tiffany Smith and we’ll see you next time.
