Some of you are interested in some different types of bicep exercises. It seems to be a number one request that I hear these days. There's numbers of exercises you can do. Years ago, it's got to be -- I want to say close to 30 years ago, I pulled this exercise out of a Muscle Magazine, and the great Frank Zane came up with this concept. I mean, he was the one that was promoting it at the time, and I have been using it ever since. It's a great way to achieve a better peek, a peek on your bicep.
We are talking about doing a contracting motion. So this exercise could be done -- I am doing it for demonstration purposes on a table machine. It can be done on a pull down machine very easily. The key to it; I am going to turn sideways, is your posture. Arms are here. You are going to grab the weight. Your arms are going to be straight up, they don't want to be here. They want to be straight up. You are going to keep them straight up, and you are going to concentrate on the contraction. You don't have to let it all the way up, it's just a contraction. Just like so.
Great exercise to create that peek. I am going to bring you on to the next exercise, just like in all the other bicep exercises we are doing, we are talking about contraction. Now we are going to talk about elongating the muscle.
