Hi! I am Peggy Ioakim with the Erwin Gomez Salon & Spa, located in the heart of Georgetown, Washington D.C.
Today I am going to show you how to cover gray, and to brighten up your natural hair color. We have already colored the hair, and we have shampooed her hair. We have rinsed all the color out thoroughly, and then shampooed it with the color-safe shampoo twice. And we followed it with color-safe conditioner, to ensure the vibrant shine and color of the hair.
If the box doesn't come with color-safe shampoo and color-safe conditioner, I recommend you going and getting one in a salon near you.
Now that we are done with coloring the hair, I am going to finish up her hair by drying it. And I am adding a color -- no, I am not, I am adding a gloss shine product in her hair. You can use any finishing product that adds shine and volume to your hair.
I just began with getting all the moisture out of her hair, and I am going to begin with just rough drying.
Once I have done that, I always like to section the hair, because I feel that it adds -- it's a lot more simple for you to dry it at home. Just keep everything organized and you will be done soon.
Next, take the next section after you have dried that, and continue on.
And once you are done with this process, you are ready to hit Georgetown.
