How to Blow Dry your Hair

[Music Playing] Hey, everybody! Alright, today, so after I've finished my makeup, I decided to show you guys how I blow dry my hair, because I have had about 30 or several requests on showing me how to do this. So what you will need for this is, obviously, wash your hair and what I use for shampoo or conditioner is, Matrix Color Smart; its shampoo and conditioner. It's made for colored hair and actually, it feels like it leaves a bit of -- I don't know it leaves something behind, actually, prep your hair for styling. If you don't have colored hair, anything by Matrix would do so. It would be -- they have pro-care and sleek straighter or sleek straight or some like that. After that, what you would use, you would use an uplifting foam. What I use is Aquage Uplifting Foam. I got this at my salon, and I believe I've got it for about 17 bucks. If you don't have Aquage around where you are, you can use Catwalk. This is called Root Boost. I am sure everybody has seen this bottle before. Where I put this Aquage on, this is the first thing I've put on in this video, to get this kind of volume at the top. If you don't have this, you dry your hair completely and then put this on your roots, and then take your brush, kind of dry it up, two inches above your head, and it will give you that root boost you need the entire day. So Aquage for just the crown of the head only, not the end, you don't want any of these on the ends because it will make it sticky. What I use, just to give my hair a bit of shine and gloss, I use BY-Framesi, it is the Slush Gloss. It's really a great stuff. It smells like a man, it's like musky. Oh! It's good. So I use that on the ends, and I don't touch my roots with it, just because, if you tend to push shine spray or gloss or something like that on your roots, it will way your hair down and make it look dirty, and oily, and nobody wants that. Right after the styling, I use Aquage Finishing Spray. Now you don't want a spray that is a hard hairspray, just because with this kind of look, you want it to be out there, just playful bedroom kind of hair. So you don't want that hard-hold, where it's not moving at all if I am doing anything. So if you don't have Aquage, the Finishing Spray, you can always look for -- Matrix has one, it's called all-weather hair spray. It's in the green bottle, and it's usually with the curl, the Curl.Life and stuff like that, because it's the same line and stuff. So that's a nice, all-weather hair spray, especially if you have wavy hair like me or curly hair, and you go out in the rain or moisture, and your hair just tends to go or just re-curl again. This stuff is great, all-weather, it's awesome. The tools you will need is your two-and-a-half-inch to three-inch ceramic brush. This is actually very outrageous. This is anti-static brush and you will need your blow-dryer. The best tool I can say to get is the directional. Now, this actually goes on the front of the blow-dryer, and you are going to go for directional and stuff like that. If you can buy a very good blow-dryer, because it will cut down your straining time and it will cut down in your curling time, and pretty much, if you don't want to damage your hair a lot, just get a really good blow-dryer, invest in it because it's a good buy. And then, I just use my two-inch barrel curler and this is by Revlon Studio 35. This has some settings. This is actually cheap and I got this really $7 on the clearance Walgreens or something. I don't know, but just get a one-inch curling iron to do these kind of wavy things, and you'll be all set, and after that, flip your head over, stretch it up a bit and good. But just a cool another tip; if you have uplifting foam in the crown of your head, a cool thing to do throughout the day, if it does start to go a little bit flat, no worries, because with this uplifting foam, put your hands and you loose your hair, just do this and that's it.
