Alright guys, if you’ve ever been pissed off about the hundred dollar fee to boost your speed of the laptop like ride off when you buy it from Best Buy or a Future Shop. Well, I’m going to tell you the secret to do that. It’s really simple. How I got my sources? Well, basically from Future Shop themselves. What happen was, when I bought this laptop, the guy was really happy to help us and we asked the 70 or the hundred dollar package worth that he said, “No, not all, it’s just basically.” Well, it was just basically going to MSConfig. So if you have this stuff, then go ahead and type in MSConfig, if not, press run or press search, msconfig, right.
Now, we for it, just press Continue. And here we go. Now, I already have mine in selective startup, okay. So that means I already selected a few services and stuff to turn on when I start my system. Now, you can add a few OS, you can add OS to this. You can a bunch of stuff to this. You can start it in safe boot, up to you.
Now in startup, I do–they will pretty much everything. Everything except a few of the really major HP stuff or stuff I prefer. I have HP Quick Launch on. It’s a language control. I have AVG Internet Security. My Windows Defender is not too important but I like it, any kind of defending stuff. My Skype–just a bunch of really you stuff. Everything else, like my Bluetooth that came with the computer, it was originally on, Media Center, everything was on.
So it’s dim, used automatically start, right. HP Healthcare, HP Wireless Assistant, Total Care Adviser, those are useless. HP DVD Smart uses CyberLink that came off the computer, useless as well. Yeah, everything was pretty much useless–disable. What I do is I just press disable on and click to the ones I like. Press OK and it will ask you a reboot, but it happen. You’ll have really quick system, right? That’s pretty much all it is. How to make your system faster and save you a hundred bucks, right. So see you guys.
