It's a real boot, from cold. It just uses hibernate shutdown (which saves the system state to disk and powers off - taking a bit longer to shutdown, but is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay faster to boot).

Hibernation is not shutting down. Hibernation takes more time to shutdown than normal and less time to load.

he is right. Thats hibernating cuz i have same laptop from hp that he's got.if u use hibernating thats how it came back up
