Amy Mac: Hi! Everybody I'm Amy Mac. And in today's fit here, we're working on sculpting amazing arms. Now, ever wonder why you do bicep curls when you don't have amazing arms, we'll actually have to work the muscles in different ways to get it fully toned. Here are three of my favorite bicep exercises.
The first is the traditional bicep curl. You'll have the weight down in front of you, elbows in to your waist, shoulders back, and then you're going to squeeze your abs and bring those arms up and really control them on the way down. Elbows into your waist, control the weights on the way down.
The second step is the hammer. Legs are going to be together, arms down on your side, bring one arm up, and then alternate back and forth; keeping the elbow into your waist. Once again squeezing that stomach.
The third step is going to be leg shoulder width apart, elbows into your side and turn your arms out of the 45-degree angle, and then lift the weight out to the side. Squeezing that stomach and controlling the weights on the way down.
You're going to do each one of these variations 15 times, three times a week for amazing arms. Well, that's it for this step fit. For more information, go to withamymac.com.
