Susan Joy: Paul, when you start a new weight training program or you try to significantly increase the amount of your building muscle with your strength training, it's very important to consider your nutrition. Make sure that you are getting a good balanced protein and carbohydrate snack within 45 minutes after a session of weight lifting because that's when your muscles are hungry. And the carbohydrates over raise your insulin level just a little bit and drive that protein right into your muscles. It will really help you to consider your nutrition as you are increasing what you are doing workout wise.
