How to Build Speed in Pitches

Now in the speed building category, we have two balls. This blue and white one is 14 ounces; the cannon ball is 16 ounces. They are solid rubber. We do the same routine, no matter which ball we choose. Do this routine 3 times a week and about 10 of each of these drills. The heavy ball is good for building strength, it's also good for rehab once you have got an injury to work your way back up to full strength. We never throw this maxed out, do not throw them as hard as possible. So originally this was just for overhand and then we have added the underhand drills that we want, what we want done with it. Kacy will start by throwing overhand to her partner, good for warming up.
