Cristina DeHart: Hi! This is Christina from exploremodeling.com. I’m in New York City at the Brooklyn Bridge and I’m with Ariane Hundt. She is actually the creator of the Brooklyn Bridge Boot Camp. Tell me about this Boot Camp that you created?
Ariane Hundt: Well, the Brooklyn Bridge Boot Camp is a hardcore class that takes you over the bridge in back, when over locked. We run a good 2.2 miles and when you start to perform the exercises that strengthen you from head to toe and get you a really nice strong and lean body.
Cristina DeHart: So, what have you showed is some of those strength.
Ariane Hundt: Alright, so we start over the five minute run, and then we come here to the wall and start the pushups. So, you just bring your hands against the wall and you come down and you just go until we pass out.
Cristina DeHart: Alright, so let me try it. You just -- any wall you can do this again.
Ariane Hundt: Look your heads lower than your shoulders.
Cristina DeHart: Okay.
Ariane Hundt: Little closer together.
Cristina DeHart: Okay.
Ariane Hundt: Okay, then I’ll just bend the elbows out and come down face towards the wall, you got to push back up. So, you keep your stomach nice and strong, then the elbows go down, I’d come back down. It’s down. Now if you do different variations of pushups, we do pushups for the hands and they’re all the way together, so we’re getting more of the triceps working or we’re pushing ourselves not for the lot more tired of work. Alright, now we’re staying really low, we’re doing many pushups, so we make sit up and the more you make sit up the hard it gets for your body.
Cristina DeHart: Show me something.
Ariane Hundt: Alright, something else that’s really great for your lower body is the ball squat, and just sit against the ball and get out of your toes, and you’re working everything in your quax, your bud is working, you’re trying a stomach and spine, see just holding this and your caps bend those right shaping boiler and that’s when you know you really not work. Another thing we didn’t do it on the Barnes and let me take you over there; very careful on the bridge of the bikers take. So, what we do to get that is really fantastic work for your legs use on your toes then sitting a squat holding on.
Cristina DeHart: So, how many people do like having in your head count?
Ariane Hundt: We’ll maximum 50 in the class. So, we can so keep me an eye on everybody this technic.
Cristina DeHart: Okay and you do this everyday?
Ariane Hundt: Six days a week, seven classes a week.
Cristina DeHart: So, if you’re in New York City, you got a check out the Brooklyn Bridge Boot Camp, you can find it at brooklynbridgebootcamp.com or just find a place your own home town and create your own exercise. This is Cristina DeHart on exploremodeling.com.
