Hey everyone! Welcome to BFX. Here on the show, we build a lot of cool weapons. But this week, we are going to show you how to build something new. The Good Samaritan pistol from Hellboy
I was re-watching the Hellboy movie and realize that I really needed a giant size pistol. A quick Webster has turned out this full scale replica which is cool, but it cause $400.00. Let us see if I could build one for cheaper.
A piece of scrap 2 x 4
2 cheap hand sauce
3 brass square tubes
3 tubes of plumbers epoxy
One of this rope glitz
One pound of plus repairs
A recycled toy gun
More scrap wood
Old door stopper.

Okay, before diving into the build portion. Let me tell you this. Building this gun was one of the most labor intensive projects today. Virtually, everything on this gun is either costume or fabricated in some way. So bare with use as we try to explain.
So our Good Samaritan is going to consist of four main parts; the frame, the barrel, the cylinder and the back. We will also be adding a lot of extras. The frame and handler are made of two thin chip saw handles glue together and covered in plumbers epoxy for added shape. The top part of the barrel is just a piece of 2 x 4 with 30 degree cuts. The lower section of the barrels are trunk of wooden dhow, which I secured with two costume bend and trimmed L bracket.
There is a square copper rod between each section and it is further enforce with plumbers epoxy. The cylinder should have been episodes in itself. We started by gluing four left over epoxy tubes to the bottom of an old aluminum can. We also glued in a copper tube in the center then filled it with plaster of paris. After the plastic care, we have to cut the can away then carefully top out the plastic tubes. This gave us the basic barrel which needed additional scooping and sanding. After a lot of tender loving care, the cylinder is done.
Hi, everybody! It is now 6 a.m. I work to the night. I got your 2 x 4. I got these two little cooper square tubes and tiny nails in the top. This is the piece I made out, some more tubing that I hammer out and bend and then box in the middle. This is the storage thing and this, like this sort of. I just cut in a half and put it on either side. Trigger has hot glued in there. It is pretty frig and hefty, this gun and that gun.
Mine does not open. It has been—but if you wanted to open, then buy $400.00 amount. I want to die and have to go and pack some clothes and fly across country. See you next week.
Back from California, I set out to finish the build. First step, take the lead from the aluminum can and cut in a half then glue to the ruer of the cylinder. Next, bur out the barrel with the large trilby then add more plumbers of epoxy to thicken out the ruer of the gun. Before I paint, I went over the gun with some wood potty to smooth it out. The paint consistent of about 5 coats; one primary, two silver and two anodized bronze.
The final step is to distress the gun. Basically, scratch it with the pain where it would be warn and add a black pain where there would be oil build up at a BPR diesel and a little strip of ladder to the bottom and you are done.
I told you, it was a complicated build. So if you have any question, log on to the indymogul forums and ask them right.
Hey Chad. Okay, it is Sandy Apocalypse. You can have one weapon, any kind and one celebrity, who would be. Ryan C. Crest. That is your celebrity, Ryan C. Crest. Let us just talk about the weapon.
This is in Denise the modest versus his own Apocalypse bro. He needs something big, and he needs something heavy with fire power. I do not think your mom’s good weapon. Shut up bad wall. You need a Good Samaritan. Good what?
The Good Samaritan from Hellboy. The Samaritan is an oversize uniquely large caliber core round revolver. It fires it costume made bullets with adequate power to easily penetrate virtually any material. The middle of the gun is forged from a combination of Irish Church Bells, good irons, blessed silver and other mystic medals.
How do you know so much about the gun?
Wikipedia. And are you still sure about Ryan CC boy secrets as your celebrity. Well, I was going to go with the fuse version of Gary Busey and McNaughty, but what about there love child?
The name is Nary Bolty, and I am here to save your brains. Awesome. Freeze frame high five ending.
You zombie bustards! You kill my dad.
All right! That raps up this weeks episode, but remember that you could combine this gun in our demon makeup episode to make a killer Hellboy costume. I am also curious, which one of our DIY weapons is your favorite so far, was it the Regan, the BFG, the Dead Ray, or the Good Samaritan. Let us know by leaving a comment down below. By the way, you did not get paid to make this episode. We just did it because we love the Hellboy movies and Giant Oversize guns. But, maybe one of you guys knows Guillermo Del Toro. So passing along the episode and maybe hell like.
