Welcome back guys, this is Brian Adrian, we are continuing our series of Twitter, how-to videos. In this video we are going to go through how to build your Twitter Following.
Now obviously you could tell your list if you already have one of those. Lot of them will already be using Twitter. But a lot people don't have a list so then you might want to look into uploading your e-mail contacts. If you have a live e-mail contacts, you will find someone who is already using this service.
Then lastly user search. If you already have a leader in the niche that you are looking at, you might want to connect with them on Twitter. Now you could may be eventually steal some of their followers and customers, but even more important than that is doing your relationship with this niche leader. Long term -- so it's a great tool, user search, right at the top of any Twitter page.
Now once you have a little bit of a following, you are going to need to leverage that social proof. And you can use Twitter Counter, I will show you real quick what that looks like.
On a blog you can see there, it shows my current Twitter popularity. You could also use TwitThis and Twitter updates. I might show you both of those on this blog here. Here's the Twitter updates located at twitter.com/badges. You do have to be logged in. And down here at the bottom TwitThis.
