That was the most useless video for building a fireplace I've ever seen...the only informational value it had was....let the foundation cure and hire a brick mason if the job is large...nothing else.

Here's what you need to know, if you are having an outdoor fireplace built in your backyard. First, the location for the fireplace is mapped out. Then a trench is dug for the foundation. Next, the cement is poured and allowed to cure for at least 24 hours. Then cinder blocks are used to build the fireplace. For larger structures, it's best to hire a stone mason. Next, a stone veneer is added. The fireplace is finished off with a cap rock and a log burner is installed. Your new fireplace add style and equity to your home.
