Okay guys I am Vince DelMonte! Welcome to another video coaching lesson from YourSixPackQuest.com. Today we are going to be talking about burning fat and how to burn body fat.
All right, first thing you need to understand is that you guys can run literally a marathon, in fact you can run two marathons every single day and still you would not lose any fat. If you took in more calories, then you expanded. Okay, so the first thing you got to understand is fat loss is the function of energy in versus the energy out. So if you are taking in 2,000 calories and you only spending 2,000 calories you are going to stay still, you are not going to change.
That is only one piece of the puzzle. You can be in a caloric deficit and still not lose fat. The reason for that is because you might not be creating the right hormonal responses in your body. Remember fat loss is also a function of releasing testosterone and growth hormone in your body, those are the hormones that produce a fat burning response. What is the number way to create growth hormone in your body? From a training standpoint, let us focus on training right now. We are not going to talk about nutrition. It is the release lactic acid in your body.
When was the last time you trained anaerobically? You think walking on the thread mill for an hour, going on the elliptical for an hour increases any lactic acid in your body? At least enough to create a growth hormone response? Most likely not. if not you are probably would not be watching this, you will be out with the ladies, you will be out with the guys impressing people with your physique. So we got to create the right hormonal response.
Another key component to burning fat and how to burn fat is to drop the outrageous amounts of cardio. Look at long distance runners, who run marathons. My question to you is how come there are so many long distance runners who run marathons? Who are still overweight? Answer me that, yet when we look at sprinters, we look at people who do explosive activities, you know like sprinters, power skaters, soccer players they are not doing enormous amounts of running, yet they are doing things that involve explosiveness, power, speed, training without the presence of oxygen, those are the things that are going to create oxygen death, they are going to force your body to create lactic acid and what it ultimately going to do is it going to jock up your metabolism.
A lot of people are focusing on fat loss, just at the time that they are here in the gym. They think about how many calories is going to burn. You got to think about how many calories you can burn over the span of an entire day. So you need to do things inside the gym that boost your metabolism all day long when you are home with your family, your friends and when you are at work.
There is only two ways of doing that, number one, is resistance training with weights. Look at anybody with an impressive physique, I guarantee you that you will do weight training. If you want to just have a smaller physique, do more cardio. What is going to happen is you are going to turn your big pair shape in to a small pair shape but you are not going to be more define, you are cannot be anymore sculpted and as I was just mentioning interval training for most people is going to be your secret weapon. The reason for this is because when you do interval training, your body is going to say, “Holy crap!” How long is this going to last, I have never worked this hard before, I better dig down deep and that is when your body is going to actually dig out the fat from your left handles, from your giggly arms, from your men jogs, whatever you want to call them. Wherever part of your body is bugging you that is the stuff is going to go when you start doing interval training.
