Hi! It's Jimmy Smith from JimmySmithTraining.com and today, I want to talk about how to burn body fat. Most people don't really think of body fat when they think of losing weight, they think of stomach fat, belly fat, fat around the waist, but body fat is the most important marker of your health.
What body fat you have, you can necessarily, you can weigh a lot, but not how well the body fat. You can have a big stomach and can have a lot of body fat, they usually go hand in hand, but to burn body fat, you have to do a couple of things. First, you have to make sure your sugar in under control. You see there is a lot of diabetic people, but most people only eat a lot of high carbohydrate meals. They drink a lot of high fructose corn syrup, fruit juices or energy drinks and they'll never know that all this is doing is helping your sugar to go up and down. When you have blood sugar that spikes quickly and drops quickly, your body will add body fat like nothing. That's how it responds to it. Now, it's the first thing you have to do to burn body fat.
The second thing is you have to make sure you have fiber in your diet. The carbohydrates you take should be from fiber sources; sweet potatoes, brown rice, even lot of nuts have fiber in them. So what fiber does is it gets in your small intestine. It'll also align your small intestine and it will actually absorb some of the influence shock that your body has when it takes carbohydrates in. Fiber is very powerful.
Also, to burn body fat, what do you do in the gym? The most important thing you could do is understand that abs exercises alone will not help you burn the body fat. Most people will do side bends all day, twists where they put the bar above their back. It does nothing to burn body fat. You have to do full body movements, you have to train hard, use high and low reps. Most people don't do that. They just do some three sets of ten or three sets of twelve. For you, four sets of eight, use six sets of four. All this information that you have in terms training can be used. You don't just have to stick the full body movements. I like them. I think they are better for burning body fat quickly, but change your repetitions often.
If you go little slower in these eccentric portion, if I am lower the bench press, I am going to go a little bit slower, causes a lot damage. Change up your training. One day go really harder reps, twelve to twenty and next day, go low, go four to eight. I am only saying, to burn body fat is really good.
