How to Burn CDs at the Slowest Speed
Underdog, thank you for the comment. So that’s a valuable comment to burn the ISO as slow as possible.
That goes without—it should go without saying. I’ll just tell you that anytime you’re burning a disc of any type, if it’s an audio CD, a data CD especially if it’s a back up of your data like you want to burn that at the slowest speed possible.
These days, certainly you know back five years ago, there was this big boom of creating the fastest possible optical burning drives. But the faster that you get, it seems the less efficient it is. So even with a fast drive like even your drivers able to burn at 52 times or faster or some crazy number like that, you just want to burn in one or two or whatever the lowest number is that you have access to.
And I learned that when I was producing music back in the early days of working in the studio where I was surprised to find that in the studio, they always burn at one times burning. So I said, “What’s with that? You’ve got a 16 times burner at that time.” but it just has to do with the integrity of the desk. So if you’re having trouble, give that a try as well.
