Interviewee: Yeah, it's way easier, it's also way more fun and way cooler too.
Interviewer: Whether you are a beginner or expert choosing a snowboard isn't always obvious. Hi! Welcome and watch mojo.com, I’m your host Ashley and today we’re going to check out the latest in snowboarding gear. What’s new in snowboarding gear?
Interviewee: Well, with Italian snowboards, we have something called Triple Base Technology. It’s basically lifted contact lens on the nose and the tail.
Interviewer: What are the basic someone needs to know to start snowboarding?
Interviewee: Oh! How to stop is pretty important.
Interviewer: And what are snowboards made that of?
Interviewee: Wood, quad rocks fiber glass, carbon, P-Tex and steel edges, we also have cabards in some of our higher end boards.
Interviewer: And there's so many good snowboards to choose from, which one would you suggests?
Interviewee: Italian obviously, we make the best boards.
Interviewer: What about like Height, it would be okay for me?
Interviewee: Are you new to snowboarding?
Interviewer: Yeah.
Interviewee: Yeah! You probably want something like comes in just under your chin then, with a softer flex and a he directional shape that’s going to make it easier for your ride.
Interviewer: Are bindings universal or is it like come with snowboards?
Interviewee: Most bindings can be put on any board, so yeah you can buy a different size and match it up colors and stuffs.
Interviewer: What makes this brand different than any other brand?
Interviewee: Well, CAPITA is well-known for the art on the board. Every board has a little story behind their graphic. Food Court Gangster is a board that reflects all the little thugs that hang outs at the mall. And we have this girl jumping on the bed. This board is the Stair Master Extreme and it's really popular, it used to be a limited edition and now, we brought it on the line.
Interviewer: And what board would you suggest for a beginner?
Interviewee: Our Stair Masters are really easy to ride, so beginners could start with that board.
Interviewer: Can you give us some information about the brands buy?
Interviewee: We do like goggles, sunglasses, we’re involved with motocross.
Interviewer: What's the difference between like the lens colors?
Interviewee: You can have a darker color like this, like a mirror lens that’s good for when it’s sunny, like a Persimmon lens like this, kind of an orange lens that you know that it's better for night riding or when it's cloudy, flogged light.
Interviewer: What’s a difference between wearing goggles oppose to sunglasses, when you snowboarding?
Interviewee: Having good goggles is really going to help out, you know having a triple foam layer, having ventilations, cook system and all that stuff, that is going to help, you know, you're not crying and adding a really good experience riding.
Interviewer: More women are taking up snowboarding, so what is the new fashion thing? There's a big market now for women on the hills because you like to rock on the hills, but you like to be sexy at the same time. And as you can see it’s really girly, there's for hair, like a huge belt and all these details like the leather. This jacket is 100% recycled fabrics, I think there's good, the big icon industry right now about Echo. Oakley has a bunch of limited sunglasses; can you just give us some insight?
Interviewee: Yeah! Will basically we started doing something with artists around the world for limited edition pieces of our usual everyday pieces. This is the new one made with London Police, which is a graffiti artist, so these are runs of about maybe 2000 units worldwide. So it’s going to be through a very selected amount of dealers and if we want to go retro a bit, we kind of reintroduced the frog skin from 80’s in a very limited quantities, and we were quite surprised with the impact have had, and you might have seen on certain stars, Will, Kanye West, Hayden Panetttiere and so on.
