How to Care for your Trees Naturally Part 2/2
So this particular stuff is called supers. I have different varieties of supers, this is called soya, super save. Made from Soya beans, it’s in the powdered form. So we’re going to take that, add that to it. This is a 1322, very high in nitrogen but also, as a microbial active there. Lots and lots of really enzymes of bacteria that’s one of the reasons why I’m adding it to and then, we’re going to add that together so that’s all get to blended in there with this stuff. And then we’re going to take—this is a say thing as a super soya but the difference is it’s a pellet size form. A pellet size form uses slow release and if you look up close, you’re going to see lots of little black pieces of stuff in there because all my stuff I add endo and ectomycorrhizal different types of bacteria to it and that’s what these little pieces are. Endo and ectomycorrhizal, so we’re putting the bacteria back into the soil. These are very important for the health of the plant and the health of the soil. You’ll see them in there, little pieces of stuff. Those enzymes, all types of bacteria which I add back to the soya. So we’re going to take that and dump it in here.
Now, I actually have one more, I’m going to add and this is called super seaweed. This is my 131313th organic fertilizer. It is made from a variety of different things from seaweeds to work those to the endo and ectomycorrhizal. It has a variety of other things I add to it, mind up, and this is what it looks like. One of the things it has in here if you see a spark keys, actually has a salt that’s mined out from the ocean and it’s a crystal salt. That’s really rich in minerals so we add that to it. We add the different kind of rock dust to it. Different types of seaweed. That’s as to the super seaweed. This is 13th very high and that’s a plane. So we’re going to add that to this mixture. Then we’re going to take it and blended all in okay.
Again, my special shovel for that. You can come close and see if you can the—yeah but I can’t do it around two things. Like that, right, there you go. So we’re going to take it and blend it all together, the only thing I will add to this, little differently, coffee grinds. Coffee grain is wonderful but you can add coffee grinds throughout the year. So you want to take and dig down to the bottom, blend it all in. Ended in really nice, so there’s an equal blend all the way across. Looks very it’s nice to eat I think.
Now each tree like the ones we’ve finished doing can handle about maybe four cups of this as a fertilizer because this is what this is. This is an organic fertilizer. Very, very rich. You don’t want burn the plant. You could if you dump it all into the one plant. So we’re going to take this and we’re going to put it back onto all the fruit trees up here. This is also a rose food. We’re going to be talking about rose food later on. So you see you have a time release fertilizer. This is the rock dust. This has got the various castings in it and you can see that all wonderful stuff in it. There’s another rock dust right there. A couple of different types of rock dust I add to it. That’s what these little pieces is here they are rock dust. This is a clay mixture so the rock dust is more clay.
So we’re going to take this, we’re going to feed the fruit trees with it, and we are ready. So a tree this size, you get about four cups of this, evenly spread out along the trunk. So like I said, a tree this size, you give about four cups. This is a quart size. So you put and mix and I use it as a way to measure and you want to sprinkle it evenly out all around the base of the tree. Out to the drip, as it’s not too far. So I’ve already given—these are four of them in this one tree. And this will all get soaked in, hope you will raise some more and not the sprinkles come out, it will go in there and it’ll really start to give it some food and you’ll see they will come back later on throughout the year and check on the trees. You can give yourself.
So let’s go to the other one. So again, we’re going to feed four of them, all is around at the base of the tree. Make sure they get --all the way here you see. That’s two and another one over her. This tree will benefit a lot. It’ll be giving a lot of coffee grinds. Coffee grinds—this is very good for the soil, so there you go. Just four of them. And then we’ll put this all of these--just protected from deer and stuff. So I’ll put there and put them to those and grab that.
You caught me. You see that it’s nice. Your fruit trees will love it. Now ideally, you want it more of this. You want to put something nice over it. You’ll leave it like this then some will come and destroy it to the extend that’s why you want it tight. Develop and the wood chips have pushed back down to cover it again. Okay that’s what all the stuff here. It’s better up here. So the rain will wash it down. So all of these stuff you see is much good and half of the fruits. You all arrange it and wash it down, it goes back up again. So we’ll get the gardener to do that.
