How to Cast On Serenity Loom Chain Method
You can cast on even simpler, even faster with serenity by what I’m about to show you. This is the chain casting on. We're going to take our material, wrap around your finger twice, and hope you will always do. Taking the back over to forward and then grabbing the back and then up. So you have a slip knot just like so. We're going to slip it on to the very first one that you’re going to do it. It doesn’t matter which direction that we go in but we're going to be wanting to focus on the inside of this loom.
So I’m going to put it over here just for the sake of doing that okay and I’m going to pull it snag but I’m not going to refund it and what we want to do now is just pull it toward the outside of the serenity loom just like so and now we're going to use crochet hook. I’m using a size G. I’m going to let the straggler fall down. So I’m not going to grab that and so basically this requires a little bit of skill and practice but once you get it going it will be really great. So then you’re just going to take your needle between the two pegs so I’m going to start going around here. We’re just going to grab the material pulling it through.
Now go into the very next slot, put your needle down and then when you’re pulling it through pull up so rotate towards you and now basically you just done. So let’s try it again. So turn your needle over upside down. Now turn it away from you so it’s coming up around and the reason why we're making that turn is that it forms like a tear out shape. Just see how I kind of pulling it and its forming a tear dot. So what’s going to happen so when you go in there, you’re forming a tear dot therefore creating a space and if you rotate it the needle properly you should be able to do this really quickly so just down or pulling away from you and end.
So this basically eliminates a whole double wrapping in order to do your casting on and you get it into routine. You got to fly along with this really simply. So this is the chain casting on.
