Hey YouTube IPod Touch 2gGeek here and in this review I’m going show you how you can change your carrier name. What it says, you can make it say your name your pets name Iphone even it’s an Ipod whatever you want alright.
So to do this you’re gonna need a jail broken Ipod Touch or Iphone okay, then you’re going to open up Cydia you’re gonna let it load once it is loaded. I want you to go down here into the bottom right hand corner and select the search tab then what you’re going to do is go ahead search for the application called MakeitMine.
No spaces at all just MakeitMine alright you’re gonna get this and click on it, and it will look like this with the Erica right there. All right, you’re going to click install, and confirm then you can go back and press the home button.
One you press the home button you are going to get an Icon it’s not going to look like this it’s gonna be that yellow one with an Erica on it just looks like this cause of my custom theme that I made but I’m going to click to MakeitMine. It will say MIM, and then you will get a very simple dialogue and not really a dialogue box it’s an application here.
So you can go ahead and click here and say I wanna change this to Ipod Touch 2gGeek and I didn’t type it, whole on iPod touch 2gGeek. You can either select that as carrier which will change this over here or you can select it as the Banner which will change it over here so you won’t have the time anymore.
Let’s say I want to change the carrier go ahead and click carrier and now it’s too much for it to displace so I will just display that if you want for the Banner. Go ahead and click Banner iPod touch 2gGeek. Now if you want it back to the original go ahead and blank it out and then type in what it originally was so mine I’m using an Ipod so I’m just going to type in Ipod and then Carrier and it goes back to my custom Banner that I made.
If you want to get rid of the Banner and make it the time again, go ahead and click this and click Banner and there you have it. It’s as easy as that no SSH, no spending time to make you own icons any of that stuff right.
