Hey guys, it’s geeky artist here aka Lee so anyway this is another cool video for you. To all my subscribers, I appreciate the sub guys, thank you so much. I’m just busy with school and stuff but anyway I’ll take the time to share these things with you and to make the videos that you had requested for, alright?
So anyway, this video is all about Many Cam which is a freeware program. Basically, alters the way you look on your camera so our star today is a very special starfish which is Patrick, here we go. So, I’m just going to show you some effects you could do with the Many Cam. Again, this is for free so what are you waiting for? It’s cool to download and have fan with it, alright?
So, we’ll go to objects first so we have here avatars. Here we go, avatars so you can have a frog mask if you want to. If you want to return to your original view, just click on your icon here like so. So for Christmas, I'm just going to show Patrick’s eyes here, that’s pretty cool, weird but cool. Anyway, so I’m just going to show that, then we have flags, fun. So, if you want to go do your thing or something like that then you can have a “Be right back” sign there or a “Gone” if you want to and other effects which you can download from their website so another cool thing and it’s all for free. We can also go to holidays, okay. So, those are under objects.
Next is a background so you can have a dynamic background which are moving or static backgrounds. So, I’m just going to demonstrate the dynamic background, let’s say Patrick’s flying. So, take a snapshot of your background okay, take, to show you guys. Okay accept. And Patrick is flying, so that is pretty cool. So anyway, I’m just going to return that. We’re going to go to colors now from effects. So, we have alien, ghost, sepia, really depends on you guys. You can download more, you can also have dynamic colors like fire or snow, water, cool because well Patrick is on well he lives underwater so anyway. You could also have some lens which is really funny so you have some bulge, oops! You have to turn this off. That looks pretty weird. Anyway, so this is bulge, this is mirror, looks like a pig now anyway round distort, shrink, square. Anyway, you just have fun your lens and you have more lens to download from Many Cam.
So, we go to face accessories. Basically, it doesn’t work with dolls but you can have some fake eyebrows, eyes or eyeglasses, face like scream, oh it doesn’t work with dolls but you get a picture. And I don’t want to scare you guys so just try it out for yourself. You can also have vampire, clown and many others. It also have some hats here, okay, 3D masks, it’s really cool so just have fun with it and experiment on the way you want to look on your web cam.
So, let’s go to text over video so I have here Patrick. So, this is a scrolling text or a murky so you can change that to whatever you want. You can change the color, okay. The transparency, okay, and the font style, here we go. You can also change the way it moves, so this is vertical, that’s pretty cool.
Also, you can have date and time, so if you want to show your clock, you can change the color of your clock if you want to. Digital, it’s pretty cool. The date if you want to, the font size so it depends. And also you can have some drawing over your video so if you want to draw something let’s say Patrick, Pat, change the color, it’s really cute. So, I’m just going to clear that. Now, we go to sources. You can show a movie if you want to, you can show still images. If you remembered my South Park character, you can also show your desktop like so or a blank image. You can also alter the brightness, the contrast, color, if you want a gray-scale, if you want to flip or vertically flip, it really depends on you and also the size so you can change the sizes of your video, like so.
And here is the cool part, so you go to Properties and you can well basically you can control the color or the camera so you can also zoom in or zoom out. And if you go to Advanced Settings so you can have image effects like relief, negative, dithering, paint, mosaic, particle, canvass, raindrop, glass tile, shift and block. So, that was pretty neat so you go back to normal. You can also have some photo frames like the Vimicro, red telescope, and angel, magic mirror, and many others, which you can actually download from their site. So let’s go to normal here and hit okay. So there you go, so this is again a freeware program, by the way you can move this if you want to just want to clear that. So, you can move this if you want your clock to be here or here or your text, you can also move this anywhere you want so it depends on you guys.
So there you go again, this is a freeware program that you can use with your web cam. Another cool feature about Many Cam, the fact that well it is called many cam it’s because if you’re using it in a program let’s say Yahoo then you want to use it on another program let’s say MSN messenger or something, you can actually use your camera for both programs at the same time so that’s pretty cool. So, two or more programs at the same time use your cam no problem, it’s possible with Many Cam. And you can download it at manycam.com, I’ll put the link in the description anyway and there you go.
