In this video tutorial we’ll show you how to change and edit your ring tone and profile. Using your top board scroll up to the profile icon and then tap it left to your screen. Push your top board in. From here you can activate your profile such as loud, vibrate, quiet, normal, phone only and off.
Select to the bar to edit your profiles and you can set exceptions for your profiles for a group of contacts. Now we’ll select normal. From here you can edit your terms and actions for each of these applications including Blackberry Messenger, Facebook and email. MMS is picture messaging and SMS text is made on text messages. Select the phone to change your ringing tone. In your box you have a case also known as the holster and through your profiles you can have different alerts from which is in and how to post off.
Select on, you are now choosing your alert type and there are boxes such as none, tone vibrates, and vibrates on tone. Now choose your ringing tone. Here you have all your list of ringing tones by Blackberry. Scroll at the top of the list and select browse to use your own MP3 charger. Now, select the music photo which is stored in your Micro SD memory card. We will now select our track, “Hold Me” by Krisha. Now, adjust your volume from mute, low, medium, high or escalating.
For editing notification like coming from the top right of your Blackberry Curve, choose to how the switch on or not pick at all. Choose how many vibrations the phone should perform I would say when setting up your ringing tone. You can choose different options when your phone is in its holster or changing it to options within the in holster settings. Your profile has the “Do not disturb” feature or also known as DND. This will divert all calls to your voice mail however you’ll still be notified on screen of all the missed calls.
Select save, now select SMS text message. Again you can decide to how the tone or vibration or vibration in no tone. Just like your ringing tone part for all you can often to use an MP3 song as your message alert. Now, decide the amounts of beats it should make and whether or not you want to have any of these states by flashing. You begin now to receive any tones of message or else in a call. Keep this as “No” to keep this option switched off. You can also have less alerts including browser, calendar and Facebook. You can change and edit your profiles in your main menu, scroll down and select the profiles icon.
