First, you need to unlock your touch screen by pressing the end call key then tapping the menu button. Tap menu and scroll up to select Settings. Now, select Sound & Display by tapping the silent mode you will switch off all sounds. By tapping ringer volume, you can adjust your ringer volume by sliding your finger across the slider just as shown in the video.
The G1 keeps show media volume separate, this going to be adjusted exactly the same way. And you can change your phones ringing tone and choose from the preinstalled choice by Google. Tap your desire tone then tap okay. We will show you later on the video how to you an Mp3 tone. Now, choose whether or not you want your phone to vibrate whilst ringing. Here, you can choose your message and notification ringtones, you can only use the ones that are presented here. Now, choose whether you want the phone to make a sound when dialing or making a screen selection. We will now show you how to use music as your ringtone, tap music and than select your desired track. Tap menu and than select use as ringtone, here is a closer look, tap menu then select users ringtone.
