Hey guys YouTube Tutorials and I’m going to show you how to change your boring Windows XP Theme into a cool Windows Vista Theme.
All right, so open up your internet browser okay, so that’s open just Google this Vista Bricopack and click on the first one from CrystalXP.net and just click on download. Okay, so here I’ve got this downloaded I’m just going to double click on it, and this is going to come up English, next, I accept and I’m just going to do the total one click next, next and install.
Now this might can take a while, so I’m just going to pause it and be right there for instant. If you think this might hurt your computer don’t worry it would allow your Microsoft system your store points so you can always go back to that and right now what is this doing is it’s copying everything that’s on your old Windows probably and run files and it’s just putting them in the safe place until you install. Alright, so I’ll be right back.
Alright, here I finished downloading it or installing it and you can tell at the backgrounds are already changed, but it also put these two things on your desktop since we reboot now or manual your reboot later I’m going to reboot and get back to you in a couple of minutes.
Hey guys I’m back and right off a bit you could see that some stuff is changed like the folder icons, the Windows icon and the entire start bar has changed. And so as the recycle bin and I’ll just go over some of the new changes okay, so just click on here Windows and sprint to Config and here you can select all the features you want too I’m just going to click on everything. And if for some reasons your icons went back to XP you can always come back to the Config and click on the Refresh Icons, or you can upgrade the Bricopack remove it or click help, so I’m just going to click OK. And the Vista and in script too will just stop about it and so let’s go.
Alright, so this is the rocket dock and I’m not going to leave that on okay, so what I recommend before you download this is make a copy of your Windows maybe make a folder and then put it like somewhere on your desktop and install the Bricopack. Then delete the Windows maybe make your folder that is coming and just you get that because the only problem that I found with the Bricopack is that my transitions and effect they don’t work on the movie maker, so I just made a copy of that and put it back right after I installed the Bricopack.
Alright, so yeah, this is a pretty good theme. Let me just change my background back okay so I had that back. Now yeah, so just make a copy of your movie make a folder and put it back into your program files right after you install the Bricopack and remember this is only a theme, so if you don’t want install it but change it back save for like a day or something.
You can always right click and go to Properties and for theme you can just click on Windows XP or the Windows Classic, so this is just a theme and it will change to start onto so yeah, I hope you enjoy this tutorial I wasn’t too fast and I hope you understand everything I said, that’s all.
