Alright, in this drill, it is a drill to replicate and simulate the ball, where the player is actually chasing the ball down and passing it back over their shoulder. In this case, her partner is going to stop the ball, throw the ball out, she is going to chase it down, pass it back high, preferably to her partner. In doing this, she wants to have her platform up here, near her chest or shoulder, and she is going to pass back over her shoulder and pass the ball high, not trying to keep it too much, or either it will keep at bad angle. She wants to put some height on the ball so that somebody can get a play on it. So it looks similar to this.
That's right. Nice high pass. She will watch the ball in her peripheral vision as she runs out, chases it down, gets nice high out there, set yourself, good height, toss out, nice and back.
