Having proper tire pressure can affect the way a vehicle handles in an emergency situation and the statistics are there to back it up. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, under inflated tires contribute to crashes that result in 600 and 60 fatalities and 33,000 injuries each year.
Male2: We conducted a survey to gauge motorist’s tire care awareness. We found out that only 15% of motorists properly check their tire pressure, 46% of drivers did not know where the right pressure is for their vehicle when you consider the tires are the only part of the vehicle that touches the road, this statistics are alarming.
Famale2: Tire experts say, there are few easy rules to follow to make sure you keep up proper tire pressure at all times.
Male3: It is very important that you check your tire pressure monthly and you get the recommended pressure from the vehicle manufacturers label on the driver side door and also check your tires when they are cold. They have been sitting over night or they have not been driven for three hours.
