How to Child Proof a Window with Window Wedge

Hi! This is Michael from KidSafe. I'd like to show you the Window Wedge. The Window Wedge is a simple device you place on your window and it limits the height that your windows can go up.

So to install the Window Wedge, you simply peel off adhesive from the strip, place it on your window and stick the Window Wedge on there where it needs to be. Then you'll see that it reaches to window height to opening up only a few inches. It's adjustable, if you want to open up the window a little bit more, simply peel it off and stick it back on.

The window wedge can also be used on horizontal sliding windows as well as the double-hung windows that are raised up. You should install the Window Wedge so the window opens no more than four inches, four inches is the maximum limit that a child cannot crawl through or get their head into, because you should never trust the window screens to stop the child from crawling out of window.
