Hey there. This time, I just want to share with you guys another cool Tweak you can do with Windows XP. If you are familiar with the Zune theme, the start menu is orange, you have a black taskbar, the start menu is black or basically dark. If you open a window, lets say, My Computer, you have a dark window and your title or sections here are in orange.
With this cool Tweak, you can actually change the color of orange to other colors that you want. That theme or that program you can use the Zune Theme Multicolor. Its by this guy, software tutorial and you can download it from DeviantArt. I got this idea from one of my subscribers again from Atila339, one of my best subscribers because he has really cool ideas that he had shared with me, and I’m going to do more videos that he suggested. Anyway, it says here, You probably notice the Zune theme, but if you could chose another color that’s orange. Well, you can just open the link – this is from DeviantArt and jut download it and then you should extract. Where ever you themes are, in my case it would on my local disk. I’ll just show you for you guys to know. Then you go to Windows, you extract all your files, your Zune theme folder, copy that folder to your local disk or whatever there. And then, Windows and then Resources and then go to Themes. So as you can see I have here a bunch of themes that I have used so I have Luna, the Royale Nior, VistaVG and Zune Multicolor. All we have to do is extract it under your local drive, Windows, Resources then Themes.
You open that, and you’ll notice you’ll have a Zune multicolor visual style file. All you have to do is double click that. This window should pop up. Most Windows XP doesn’t recognize this file as a visual style file. So you need a third party software for that. Also for free, its called UX Theme Multi Patcher. Just install this and Windows XP will be able to recognize this particular file as a visual file style file. If that happens, you should be able to edit your color right away. It should be here Zune and then your color scheme are as follows. We have blue, you have brown default, which is orange, green, noir, olive, pink, purple, red, smoke. There is a preview of that here, so this is purple. This is green. I’ll try the olive. If you’re satisfied with your settings, just click Apply and wait. We go back to our window. There you go. It’s a new view for you guys. Basically change the color of the Zune theme. I think that is pretty cool and again, big things to Atila339 for that idea.
