It's another DIY Network Bathtastic Quick Tip. If I have one mission in life it to get rid of bland cultured stone countertops. One bathroom at a time. Sure, granite is always a sharp look but if you are hunting for more affordable options. I have some great ideas. If going green is your thing, you can built your own countertop out of bamboo. It's Eco-friendly and budget friendly. And for just a couple of hundred bucks, you can get in easy to assemble stone kit with all the pieces you need, to make a countertop out of pavers. It looks just like natural stone. And this countertop has made from many flaps of granite veneer. It's of fractional the price of real granite. You can even jazz up an ordinary vanity on the cheap with glass mosaic tile and make a matching frame with extra pieces. So, get creative with your countertop.
