If you like to cook outside throughout the year and on the market for a new grill, I highly recommend spending the extra money on an all stainless steel model.
Hi, I'm Chef Jason Hill and I have just a few tips for you before you go out and make your purchase.
If you do a lot of grilling, you may want to grill with a larger cooking surface. This one is about 600 square inches.
You’re going to want to buy a grill that has some storage cabinets and some drawers. These are great for storing your grilling accessories. You should measure the spot where you’re going to set up your grill then measure the grill before you purchase it.
Bring some sort of magnet with you. It doesn’t necessarily have to have a nom on it. A high quality stainless steel is not magnetic.
Hey wait a minute! Where is the propane tank? Think ahead! Someday you may want to convert your propane to natural gas like I did here. Before you buy, check to see if the grill you like can be converted.
Converted kits contain new valves that attach to the manifold. Before you convert, read all instructions.
Finally, don’t forget to purchase a good quality grill cover. This will help protect your new grill from Mother Nature.
I hope these tips would help. Now, go out and get your new grill. And then come back and visit me and I'm going to share some great recipes.
