Suzanne: Hello George, how are you?
George: Hello!
Suzanne: The homeboy returns!
George: I know, back to the homeland. If you are just in case you’re confused, I am here with Suzanne at Big Beautiful Brides in Weston Super Mare hometown.
Suzanne: Yes.
George: It’s really exciting to be here. I can see an array of lovely dresses all around us.
Suzanne: Thank you.
George: So Suzanne, Big Beautiful Brides.
Suzanne: I know it’s fabulous!
George: I love the title. It’s absolutely amazing. How did you come up with the idea?
Suzanne: Literally, I had a light bulb moment. I had bridal store in town and I was seeing girls in more cleavy figures were coming in, you know, size 16 or 18 and up. And I just thought Big Beautiful Bride. That’s it! That’s the direction we’re going in, and within two months we dealt in an independent store, the one you’re in now and from there it has just grown for four years it just got bigger and bigger and bigger to the point where we knew we just had to go ahead and create our own collection.
George: So it’s been popular and it is official big is beautiful!
Suzanne: Absolutely! I mean look at our brides, absolutely amazing. The great thing about it is it gives the girls confidence they come in, they know when they head in big beautiful brides, that’s me! I’m going to go somewhere—
George: They’re going to be comfortable.
Suzanne: Yeah, I mean look at me. I’m big—
George: But you’re certainly beautiful girl!
Suzanne: Thank you.
George: She’s a beautiful girl. I see behind us we have the very beautiful dresses which I am loving. With a little bit of sparkle of myself today Suzanne. So tell me about the collections.
Suzanne: Yes I did comment on you r show. I love it! Absolutely brilliant!
Basically, the whole collection works for everybody. I should say, because of the structure of the gowns which I don’t know if you can see.
George: Yeah.
Suzanne: If you have a fuller bust, it will minimize and give great lift and support then come into the waist. If you’re not as well in—
George: Flatter chest.
Suzanne: Yes, but you still have a rounded hip whatever, it will give the illusion of a fuller bust. So every bride looks in proportion. This gown has been our best selling gown. I couldn’t tell you why this color, but it has. It’s an ivory toffee.
George: Oh it’s beautiful!
Suzanne: That has got a gown overlaid, lays back with beautiful detailing. The girls have gone very feminine. Lots of glitz, lots of glamour.
George: Glitz and glamour!
Suzanne: Really going back to dressing.
George: I can see some incredible detail over here. Now, this is actually—all these dresses are part of your own collection rights.
Suzanne: Absolutely! This is all the—we call it the BBB collection. For the bride that’s looking for a little bit of soft color like you say a vintage look, the lace this style works every time.
George: I’m loving this one with the little bolero. Talk me through it.
Suzanne: Yes, it’s absolutely stunning isn’t it? For the brides who like a little bit of cover over their arms, this is for you. It’s not a heavy jacket like you know a satin jacket. This is a lot more light weight. It goes perfectly obviously with the gown. It just speaks for itself.
Once again, slightly vintage looking you could say. But I think, a very modern cut on the gown.
George: Really feminine.
Suzanne: Yeah, very feminine.
George: I would quite like to see some of these dresses in action.
Suzanne: Well just because you’re here we do happen to have one of our brides, is wearing one of the gowns and I’m sure she’ll be happy to show it to you.
George: Right, so let’s get our model in.
Suzanne: Okay.
George: Katherine. Here she goes, looking absolutely beautiful. Welcome
Katherine: Thank you.
George: Thank you for coming on this show.
Katherine: Thank you for having me.
George: How are you feeling?
Katherine: Great!
George: Yeah, you feel comfortable?
Katherine: Yeah, yeah I definitely feel so comfortable in this dress.
Suzanne: As you can see fantastic structure. Not wearing a bra and we’ve just took this off the rail today. Would you mind if I say what size this is?
Katherine: No.
Suzanne: Size 24 and if you’d like to tell us how it feels to you.
Katherine: Yeah, it feels really I say it feels so comfortable and obviously being a bigger girl is hard to find and sometimes even clothes that fit you.
George: And you want to feel sexy on your big day right?
Katherine: Yes, definitely.
George: Okay, well I’m loving this. And I agree this sort of cluster the stomach area here. It’s very flattering. So we’ve got gown number two haven’t we?
Suzanne: Yes, yeah.
George: So you can slip off.
Katherine: Okay, thank you.
George: Get yourself ready.
Katherine: Okay.
George: Looking gorgeous!
Suzanne: Oh wow! Beautiful!
Katherine: Yeah.
George: It’s nice to see some color as well.
Katherine: Yeah I like the injection of color with this one.
Suzanne: Could turn slightly to the back for us and I can show you the contrasting lace back. If you’d like to just turn around a little bit further.
George: Oh yeah, this is beautiful.
Suzanne: Right there, the detail there and of course once you get the hitch up you got this fabulous shot of color going all the way down.
George: Lovely! So, time for finale. Okay viewers, so here it is. Outfit number three and my personal favorite with Katherine. Here she is. Oh! And I am so right, I feel that is beautiful. How do you feel?
Katherine: Yeah, I really like it. I like all of them. These are really lovely.
George: We can do dressing up all day. There we go. Well Suzanne what can I say? Thank you so much. It’s been an absolute pleasure for us to come and see you. I’m so proud of you in my hometown.
