Hi, I am Anthony Kopelli with Astro Carpet Cleaning. I have been in the carpet cleaning business for over 30 years. And one question I often asked is, “how do you get candle wax out of carpet, out of upholstery, or out of clothing?” And I would show you a sure way of making that work.
First, you need a candle wax, and I do not care if it is wet, fresh or dry but you want to get yourself a damp cloth and a hot iron.
Now what you do is you take the cloth, you put it over the candle wax, you take your iron and put it on in there. The wet cloth will keep the carpet, the fabric, or the upholstery from getting that iron burn. And that wax will go towards the heats source into that damp cloth and—the wax will be gone.
