I have actually cleaned one side of her mouth there. I have on one side and this other side on the canine. You will see the last is some tartar there which needs to be removed otherwise it will set up a gum infection.
Now you can have to clean your dog’s teeth yourself by this gum and tooth wipes, and I found this a bit easier than toothpaste and a brush that you can use on a dog. I put the wipe around my finger, and then just gently rub it on the teeth just holding that side of the mouth, gently rubbing it backward and forward and this will actually clean it.
Female: Sue mentioned to toothbrush and others do prefer this as John Evans demonstrates on his Cavalier no need to rinse.
John Evans: No hard rubbing and you need to clean the back of the teeth because the toothpaste won’t do that job for you. You don’t have to work. If I do the teeth twice a week I feel quite happy about that.

Sally: Just gently scrape the tooth just to make sure there is any build up.
