First skill we want to take it through is shooting. I like to teach shooting by demonstrating an L form, that young players have an easy time of remembering. So, what we are going to do is, we are going to put our team on line. I like to put them on lines. They can all balance their feet. What I want you players to do is to stay on shoulders with the apart. Make sure your shoulders with the part, both toes are on the line, this will give you good balance. And, what I want you to do now is bring your right arm in front of you, if you are right handed, your left arm, if you are left handed. You lay your hand flat out in front of you, and, from here you are going to bring up at the elbow, and make a backward L, with a flat L. From here all I want you to do is bring your palm back and we all know what goes in the palm. Basketball goes in the palm.
Now, bring your guide hand up, bend your knees, and shoot the ball. Drop your arms. Bring your arm out in front of you again. Make an L, palm back, guide hand, bend your knees and shoot .hold your pulses. One more time, bring your arm out in front of you, make an L, palm back, put your guide hand up, bend your knees and shoot and relax.
