An entirely different theme for ladder games is to create various geometric shapes using different segments of a ladder. Relay races are easy to set up with a ladder in a U shape.

Another easy pattern to arrange is a V, or how about a zig-zag, if you have four segments or even a square. Then within each pattern have the children run through the variations of footwork patterns like the ones we demonstrated in the first section of this tape.

Again, the variations to this one idea are practically unlimited.
