In this clip, I’m going to show you how to combine the sheritake noodles with the fettuccini pasta along with the stewed vegetables. We have our pasta all washed off and our sheritake noodles are together and we’re just going to gently lightly toss them into the vegetables that we were stewing in chicken broth. At this point you can add a little bit of pepper and just take some tongs and lightly toss it. and to add a little bit of richness, ones it tossed we put it on the plate, We’re then going to take about 2 table spoons of shredded parmesan cheese and sprinkle that on top. When it’s nice and hot that shredded parmesan it’s just going to melt ever so slightly.
Okay, so now we’ll take about 2 table spoons of shredded parmesan and sprinkle that on there, that’s about 40 calories. The harder cheeses are much lower in calories than soft cheeses. And then just decorate it with a little bit of sprinkled basil for a little extra flavor and a little fresh color. and there you have a balminess mock pasta dish. Sheritake noodles, fettuccini noodles, zucchini, mushrooms, fennel, a little bit of parmesan cheese. What could be bad about that? Does that feel like a diet?
The nice thing about this dish is you can also add chunks of white meat chicken, you can add sliced lean beef that you sauté in a little bit of lemon juice and a tiny bit of broth as well to make it a richer meal and make this the only part of your meal instead of a side dish. There’s so much you can do, you don’t even have to add the actual pasta to it, you can just serve sheritake plain and add anything you want to it, additionally if you want to make this even a bolder dish you can add some chopped tomatoes. There are so many different things you could do.
